Sustainable, smart mobility

Sustainable, smart mobility
There is concern about the environmental and social problems caused by the omnipresence, during the second half of the 20th century, of an urban transport model based on fossil fuels. Transport accounts for a quarter of the EU's greenhouse gas emissions and is on the rise. To achieve climate neutrality, a 90% reduction in transport emissions is needed between now and 2050.
At the BRTA alliance, we have created a research agenda on the sphere of sustainable, smart mobility:
- The situation in the Basque Autonomous Community and Europe
- Trend analysis
- Socio-economic challenge
- Technological challenges and R&D priorities
- Needs and opportunities
- Capacity of BRTA players distributed by technological challenges.
