Collaboration with the BRTA centres
Creating innovations is a matter of working together, and for that partners are needed. That is why every year we partner with companies, SMEs, universities and public sector organisations from inside and outside the Basque Country to tackle challenges. Collaboration takes many forms, such as contract R&D projects, public-private partnerships, technology transfer and partner search is key and at BRTA we can help you in that.
Collaborative R&D projects
We address the needs of companies and work on collaborative R&D projects to provide technological solutions.
If there is something you would like to have researched for your company, organization or foundation of the public sector, you can order a research project. We are responsible for the search for the experts.
Licences & patents
The research developed by BRTA alliance centres, leads to numerous product and process inventions. We promote efficient and effective processes for the protection and exploitation of intellectual and industrial property for the acceleration and commercialization of inventions or technological assets. Companies can gain a competitive advantage by acquiring protected assets and licenses and/or acquiring commercial applications of advanced technologies.
Public-private collaboration
Companies and public bodies can also work with us in public-private partnerships, which can take the form of a short-term project or a long-term programme. These activities fall within the scope of Demand-Driven Programmes, or the Knowledge Transfer Programme specifically designed for SMEs.
Map of infrastructures
Are you a company in need of unique infrastructures to carry out tests and/or trials?
The map, developed by the Basque Research & Technology Alliance (BRTA), makes available to users information on the scientific and technological infrastructures of the 17 members of the alliance.
The data on the 17 research centres and cooperative research centres (CICs), in which there are X facilities, can be consulted by the general public.
This initiative seeks to promote collaboration between researchers, centres and companies by generating a dynamic, multidisciplinary community, in addition to projecting capabilities externally.
