The Basque Circular Summit 2025 (#BCS25) has been an event full of innovative ideas and collaborations around circular economy and sustainability. In this context, three outstanding sessions were held, placing technological challenges and innovative solutions for industry and the circular economy at the center of the conversation.

BRTA and Technological Challenges and Solutions for Industry
The first session, entitled “BRTA Eco-innovation: Technological Challenges and Solutions for Industry”, featured interventions from technology experts, including:
- Jon Kepa Gerrikagoitia, Scientific and Technological Manager at BRTA, who presented the methodological framework and technological advances in BRTA’s research and development work.
- Jon Ander Sarasua, Tekniker, who analyzed trends, needs, and opportunities in product value retention.
- Garbiñe Manterola, BRTA’s Head of Knowledge Transfer, and Olatz Unamunzaga Galarza, General Director of NEIKER, who addressed bioeconomy and the value chains developed in this field.
Boosting Clean and Sustainable Technologies
The second session, “Boosting Clean Technologies”, moderated by Ander Elgorriaga Kunze, focused on clean technology and its impact on sustainability. Participants included:
